I've had quite a few Podiatrists do my toenails over the years, and Dr. Mirkovic is by far exemplary by comparison. She is the most detailed and diligent about such a simple procedure as trimming toenails, and also worked to help Show moreme resolve an issue with foot pain. I'm sad that I am moving to another state and won't be able to have her take care of me any more.
Dijana Mirkovic, DPM, is a highly trained podiatrist at Chicagoland Foot and Ankle. She is dedicated to providing personalized care at the practice locations in the Mount Greenwood and Portage Park areas of Chicago, as well as Orland Park and New Lenox, Illinois.
Raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Dr. Mirkovic completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She earned her medical degree at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine). She completed her post-graduate studies at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital of Chicago, during which she served as chief resident her final year. Her education focused on both forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery, as well as all aspects of podiatric medicine.
Dr. Mirkovic provides foot and ankle treatment to patients of all ages, including conservative and surgical options. She strives to provide patient-centered care and open a strong chain of communication between herself, her patients, and their families. She focuses on building a trusting relationship in an environment in which her patients feel comfortable asking all of their questions.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and traveling. She has a true love for cooking.

Best Podiatrist in Chicago.
I was very impressed with Dr. Mirković. This was my first meeting and I felt that she knew what she was talking about. She listened to me responded and I think we have a good plan going forward.

Dr Mirkovic was fantastic as always. Walked or limped in I should say due to issue with bottom of left foot and after she addressed, pain is all gone. Wonderful person and great doctor.

Dr. Diana Mirkovic was extremely gentle when it came to my feet, she was very detailed and she explained everything to a T and also gave me insight on other things that may or may not be happening. I love how she was patient and she wasn't trying to rush through the visit. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with foot issues etc.
