Dijana Mirkovic, DPM, is a highly trained podiatrist at Chicagoland Foot and Ankle. She is dedicated to providing personalized care at the practice locations in the Mount Greenwood and Portage Park areas of Chicago, as well as Orland Park and New Lenox, Illinois.
Raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Dr. Mirkovic completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She earned her medical degree at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine). She completed her post-graduate studies at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital of Chicago, during which she served as chief resident her final year. Her education focused on both forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery, as well as all aspects of podiatric medicine.
Dr. Mirkovic provides foot and ankle treatment to patients of all ages, including conservative and surgical options. She strives to provide patient-centered care and open a strong chain of communication between herself, her patients, and their families. She focuses on building a trusting relationship in an environment in which her patients feel comfortable asking all of their questions.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and traveling. She has a true love for cooking.

It was my first time seeing a podiatrist, and I feel so blessed for it to have been Dr. Mirkovic. She was very kind and thorough. Truly listening to my concerns and actually showing her care by actually wanting to get to the bottom of the problem instead of just assuming something and rushing through the appointment. She took her time and allowed me to take mine. Very personable and professional. I recommend making her your podiatrist!

First time there for ingrown toenails procedure was quick, easy and painless. Doctor was great she answered any questions I had and made everything nice and comfortable. I will definitely be going back to do my other toe

I've had quite a few Podiatrists do my toenails over the years, and Dr. Mirkovic is by far exemplary by comparison. She is the most detailed and diligent about such a simple procedure as trimming toenails, and also worked to help me resolve an issue with foot pain. I'm sad that I am moving to another state and won't be able to have her take care of me any more.
