Dr. Gibby is a nice person. She tell you all your options and let you make a choice. Having my uterus removed is not an option. I know a lot of doctors seems to be very pushy on you having your uterus removed so you can't have kidShow mores. But Dr. Gibby she understands when i said that was not an option for me. She's not one of those aggressive type of doctors to say oh you're gonna die if you don't have it done, she's not one of them. GOD gave me this temple for a reason and i'm gonna keep everybody part on me until the Good Lord himself says otherwise! We all have choices in Life to make and we should understand one another when its time for us to make our own life decisions. Dr. Gibby is great and i will continue to allow her to be my OBGYN. I prayed about it and i felt i made a great decision.
There is not enough good things to say about Dr. Gibby! She always goes above and beyond. She is very comforting. She takes her time and sits with you and goes over all questions that you may have without feeling rushed what so evShow moreer! I’m really looking forward to having her on my side through my whole pregnancy and also delivering our baby girl by planned cesarean. It’s very hard to come by doctors like herself. I am very honored to be under her care and thankful I found someone so caring and truly genuine! My husband and I absolutely LOVE her! :)
Dorothy Bestoyong, DO, brings a wealth of experience to the team at Premier Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is excited to serve patients throughout Maitland, Oviedo, and Lake Mary, Florida.
Originally born in Manila, Philippines, Dr. Bestoyong moved to the Bay Area in California before eventually settling in Jacksonville, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Florida.
Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Bestoyong went on to receive her osteopathic medicine degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. She then made her way back to Florida and completed her residency at UCF/HCA Orlando OBGYN at Osceola Regional Medical Center, where she served as the academic chief resident.
Dr. Bestoyong is excited to partner with and advocate for her patient’s health and wellness. She has interests in all aspects of Women’s Health, especially general obstetrics and minimally invasive/robotic gynecological surgery. During her time in residency, she received certification in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery, as well as the Da Vinci Robotic System. She is also passionate about wellness in residency training and the medical field.
When she’s not at work, you can find her trying out local restaurants, playing tennis, working out (especially pilates), and spending time with her husband.

Dr. Bestoyong was very attentive and my annual exam was thorough. She spent a lot of time answering all of my questions, and she even did a preliminary analysis of my increased breast cancer risk based on my family history because of my concerns. The office visit was very efficient and I didn’t have to wait past my scheduled appointment time. I would definitely recommend her.
