About Dr. Ebrahim Sadighim, MD

Ebrahim Sadighim, MD, a board-certified internist with extensive experience in the field, specializes in administering ketamine infusions at Long Island Ketamine Center in Manhasset, New York. Dr. Sadighim helps adults achieve rapid relief from chronic pain, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD),  clinical depression, treatment-resistant depression, and a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, CRPS ( Copelex Regional Pain Syndrome) , bipolar depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Dr. Sadighim received his Doctor of Medicine from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in Tehran, Iran, in 1977. He stayed at TUMS to complete a four-year residency in internal medicine, where he was honored to serve as the chief resident. He obtained additional training in gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy, receiving GI endoscopy licenses from TUMS and the Ministry of Health in Iran.

After relocating to the United States, Dr. Sadighim completed a two-year internal medicine residency program at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Based on his extensive training and work experience in Iran, he was awarded a one-year residency waiver from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Sadighim received his board certification in internal medicine in 2000. He subsequently received training in basic and advanced cardiac life support. He has researched lung diseases in coal miners, publishing his research in a medical journal, and published a series of articles titled Common Diseases in Jewish People.

Before joining the team at Long Island Ketamine Center, Dr. Sadighim gained extensive experience as an internist, with nearly two decades in private practice in Great Neck, New York. In earlier years, he served as an internist at a government hospital, Salmandan Nursing Home and Dr. Sapir Hospital and Charity Center in Tehran, Iran. He also served as a member of the board of directors at Dr. Sapir Hospital.

In addition to working as a staff and attending physician at Brooklyn Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Sadighim served as an attending physician at Long Island Jewish Hospital and an internal medicine physician at state correctional facilities in New York.
