Edore Onigu-Otite, MB;BS

Dr. Onigu-Otite (Dr. Otite) is a triple-board-certified psychiatrist with expertise in Child, Adolescent, Addiction, and Adult Psychiatry. She earned her medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria; completed her General Psychiatry residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston; and advanced fellowships in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Otite previously served as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and Medical Director of the Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress at Kennedy Krieger Institute. She is now a Full Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Otite is known for her specialized care for complex ADHD, severe mood and behavioral disorders, trauma-related conditions, and addictive behaviors in children and adolescents, and integrates motivational interviewing to support mental and physical well-being.
