This was my first visit and Dr. Valdés’ receptionist makes him look really bad. I walked in for my 2:30 pm appointment didn’t get greeted, I said I’m here for my appointment the girl didn’t even acknowledge my existence. The otherShow more receptionist did and asked me what doctor and I said Valdés so told me it was with the first receptionist and also alerted the other receptionist. The receptionist proceeded with handing me to sign in, still without looking at me. I replied, “do you have a pen?” she kept ignoring me so I had to raise my voice and said “with what?” And explain what I was talking about because she wasn’t listening to me at all. If it wasn’t for the other receptionist I wouldn’t have been signed in or given the forms or anything because the other one wouldn’t even look up. This is an obgyn for pregnant women and the receptionist treats us like non human beings. The assistant that took me in for my weight told me that the receptionist didn’t give her my forms till one hour later so that’s why they took me in 2 hours after my original appointment, essentially wasting hours of my day when I could have been working. I also had to beg the receptionist to give me the forms to fill in because I was new, just because I know this is customary. On top of that she talks to you when she finally addresses you with “love” extremely condescending. Thankfully, my 30 minutes with Dr Valdés were great. He has the complete opposite attitude and was eager to help. That is why I’ll be coming back as he was friendly, kind and extremely knowledgeable. I’d advise him to choose friendlier staff.
Excellent physician with amazing bedside manner. He takes your worries away, and brights them with confidence. He cares about his patients in a way I have never seen another physician do. I recommend Dr. Valdés whole heartedly. I Show morehave called him at all hours of the day and always finds a way to answer me. When you want too notch care, his office will cater to your needs. The staff are pleasant and caring, very knowledgeable as well as Dr. Valdés. I can go on and on but I have no more room. I am blessed and grateful to god for shifting my decision to be seen by Dr. Valdés. But, don’t take my word for it. Come to his office and see him for yourself.
Eduardo E. Valdes, MD, is a Board Certified OB/GYN at Collaborative Women’s Care in Miami, Florida. Dr. Valdes provides personalized women’s health care, forming long-lasting relationships with the patients he cares for.
Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Valdes’ love for medicine started at an early age as the son of a neonatologist (a doctor who cares for newborns).
He attended the Florida International University in Miami, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Ponce School of Medicine and Health Sciences (now Ponce Health Sciences University) in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Valdes completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center (now Lincoln Medical Center) in Mott Haven, the Bronx, New York.
After completing his residency, Dr. Valdes returned to Miami to live and work in and serve the community he grew up in. He went into obstetrics and gynecology for the challenge of balancing primary care with acute care and surgery.
He cares for women of all ages, providing contraceptive counseling, pregnancy care, cervical health management, menopause treatment, and preventive health care.
To better serve the needs of his diverse community, Dr. Valdes speaks fluent English and Spanish.

The Customerservice of the staff is impeccable. The doctor really listens to your concerns and give feedback. He is open minded and respect your privacy. His assistant is very knowledgeable as well. Amazing doctor has delivered my son as well as my niece and nephew. Truly makes you feel secure especially for me that I hate anything to do with hospitals and even my annuals he walks me through the pap that I also find uncomfortable. Truly remarkable doctor and recommend highly. His staff is also very amazing. If they for whatever reason do not call you right away understand because he is good they are busy so be understanding.
