My pleasure to share my feedback about Dr. Ford! I was referred to her by a friend who said she was extremely knowledgeable regarding dermatology for black complexions. I was not disappointed. She readily answers all of my questiShow moreons about my facial issues. I am still dealing with acne, I have dark spots that frame my face and the older I get, the more moles I see around my neck. She had solutions for all of these problems that plagued me. She prescribed two medications and sunscreen for me. She also made a short video for showing me exactly how to apply these medications at what time and how much to apply with each use. So smart. She also took pictures of both sides of my face in order to ultimately document my progress. Her bedside manner is 5 star. She is soft spoken and to the point. I highly recommend her to others.
Upon entering the waiting room, I was greeted most pleasantly. I didn't have to wait 10 minutes before I escorted back to a waiting room to see Dr. Ford. Dr. Ford also shared some basic information with me, what I would call, "some common sense to do's, actions I was not aware of. As a leading, board-certified family dermatologist, Eleanor Y. Ford, MD, has spent 35 years helping patients to look and feel their best. She also served as chief resident at Howard University Hospital.
She’s a member of the Washington DC Dermatology Society, the Montgomery County Medical Society, the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. I used a Groupon for a PRP scalp treatment. The office is clean, the staff is kind and competent. Dr. Ford is a great listener and very keen on details. I really felt my treatment could not have been better. I am now Dr. Fords patient and in good competent hands.

Great practice. I have been going to Dr. Ford for years. She is very knowledgeable and good at what she does. She does not take insurance so be prepared to submit your claims to your insurance. Very friendly practice.
This doctor was recommended by a good friend of mine as a miracle doctor. I decided to give her after exhausting all options with top dermatologists from the Children's hospital and other places. My son was suffering with flaky scars all over his head for months. In just one treatment from this doc, half of the flakes disappeared. We just started using the lotion for skin rash and look forward to similar results. She is the best
