Dr. Elizabeth Metzger, DNP, PMHNP

Dr. Elizabeth Metzger is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, whole-person mental health care across the lifespan, with experience in inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth settings. She has a special passion for working with children and families, treating mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, and emotional or behavioral regulation challenges, as well as supporting children with developmental and learning differences, sensory processing challenges, high sensitivity, giftedness, and twice-exceptional (2e) profiles. A former licensed foster parent and respite provider, Dr. Metzger brings a trauma-informed, attachment-aware approach and partners closely with caregivers. Dr. Metzger also specializes in caring for pregnant and postpartum women and holds the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. Her professional training and personal experience as a mother inform her empathetic, clinically grounded care.
