Elizabeth Mueller, LPC, SAC-IT, ATR

Liz is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, and Art Therapist who is also certified in EMDR trauma care. Liz works with adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, executive functioning difficulties, and life transitions. She facilitates a weekly mental health support group in the Kenosha clinic. Liz believes that a strong and safe therapeutic relationship creates a foundation for meaningful growth and healing. She strives to create space for clients to feel comfortable showing up as their authentic selves while exploring who they are becoming. She values the diverse ways people communicate and experience the world, and tailors therapy to fit each individual?s needs and goals. Liz draws from approaches such as DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and somatic work, and as an art therapist she incorporates creativity as a way to help clients explore emotions, gain insight, and support healing.
