My decades of experience as a mental health nurse and counselor have taught me to meet the clients where they are, with an integrative approach, which includes internal family systems, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic and cognitive techniques to create a personalized treatment plan. Therapy is not about labels and diagnoses. It’s not even about what’s “wrong” with you. It’s about us working together to identify, build on, and utilize your strengths through increased insight. As a result, you may feel more in control of your life while experiencing a sense of peace and fulfillment.
