Dr. Cavanagh is one of the best mental health doctors I have ever seen. She's a great listener, gives great feedback. And when I'm having a meltdown, she's right there. She believes in talk therapy combined with medicShow moreation management. She doesn't try to just give you a bunch of meds and make you a zombie, she combines just enough medicine that helps but at the same time works through your problems with you and gives you ideas and strategies to work through your problems. She's great.

I want to tell everyone how truly amazing this woman is, along with Ms Dawn but I am a little too overwhelmed and i cant find the words. I will come back and exit this when I can. But for the first time in way too long, I think I see a light in the darkness I've been trapped in and it's the greatest feeling ever. I owe her alot for giving me hope...
Ellen listens to me and I so enjoy the visits, I feel so uplifting after I leave there cause she actually listens to me and lets me talk without being judged or put down. She lets me talk about things that matter to me and gives me sound advice. I would recommend Ellen to anyone.
Ellen is really nice. She told me a little about herself first and worked through the assessment questions while listening to what I had to say and did not discount my responses. This is an important quality in mental health doctor to me. The people over at Quiet Minds are really good, too. They work in tandem to get me back on track. I really appreciated my intro to Ellen.

Ellen is a top-notch clinician. She is extremely thorough. She also really makes a big effort to make you feel understood, without trying to put words in your mouth. I’m really looking forward to working with her in the future.

Ellen is the best provider I have seen thus far in my lifetime! She really listens, and helps you work on goals and various issues. She is open to no medication and also decreasing medication were applicable. It is so refreshing to see someone who doesn't simply give you a script and sends you on your way. I recommend her for all age groups. She is simply the best at what she does!!
