Elvis Guzman, MD, is an interventional pain management physician at Florida Pain Management Institute, serving patients in Delray Beach and Boynton Beach, Florida. Dr. Guzman specializes in diagnosing and treating chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, spine-related disorders, and nerve pain using advanced, minimally invasive techniques designed to improve function and quality of life.
Dr. Guzman earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida. He is currently completing an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Boston Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
With extensive training in interventional pain procedures, Dr. Guzman offers treatments including spinal cord stimulator trials and implants, epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, medial branch blocks, sacroiliac joint injections, peripheral nerve blocks, migraine interventions, and intrathecal pain pump implantation. He also has experience in ketamine and lidocaine infusion therapies, spasticity management, and comprehensive medication management for chronic pain patients.
Dr. Guzman takes a patient-centered, rehabilitation-focused approach to care, helping patients reduce pain, restore mobility, and return to daily activities safely and effectively. He works closely with referring physicians, therapists, and specialists to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and long-term wellness goals.

dr powers is a wonderful, kind and caring physician. he asked how i was feeling , how my injury was impacting my daily activities. he explained what he was going to do to treat my pain and how i should manage my activities afterwards. i received a follow up call afterwards to check on my discomfort. it is refreshing to see a young physician with his qualities . i have sent many of my friends to the practice .. they love him .
I have to say I moved here from New York, not a healthy person to begin with so I was nervous leaving my New York doctors and I found Dr. Powers and he is great great bedside manner. Talk to you takes your time and the least evasive way to help you, I would recommend him to any of my family or friends.
