Excellent I would definitely recommend the doctor was very informative receptionist at the front desk was welcoming. Only thing I would say when the technician brought me back to the room they did not introduce their selves to me.Show more The only person who introduced their self to me was the doctor and he was very nice and friendly even though the technician did not introduce themselves they were nice and friendly as well, so I would recommend this practice.
Elvis Salas, DMSc, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Maryland Vision Center in Frederick, Maryland. He provides exceptional eye care to patients in the Baltimore area.
Dr. Salas is licensed to practice medicine by the state boards of Maryland and Pennsylvania. He completed his medical training at Pennsylvania College of Technology before pursuing his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro College. Dr. Salas then completed his Doctorate of Medical Science degree at the University of Lynchburg, where he studied executive leadership, healthcare law, global health, and research applications. Dr. Salas is a fellow of the American Association of Physician Assistants.
Dedicated to providing patient-centered care, Dr. Salas believes in building a rapport with patients so they feel supported. His goal is to educate patients, so they thoroughly understand their treatment. He wants them to feel confident to ask questions and share any concerns they might have.

Dr Salas is proficient and thorough at his trade and that is what I was in need of. Diagnosis was done and follow ups were super effective. Very detailed and professional and that was really comforting. My only two concerns would be he seems a bit rushed which could be a bit disconcerting for some patients. Another would be acknowledging the importance of a person's time. Multiple times my 8:15 appointment leaves me waiting in the exam room for more than 15 minutes, most recently I waited 30 minutes for him to walk in to the exam room.

Check was fast and easy, staff is friendly, I was taken to exam room moments after arriving and treated very well. Dr. Salas was very thorough and thoughtful assessing my issue and reaching a diagnosis. I felt so much better when I left. And Alex was great too! She found a Pharmacy that could fill my prescription and added a coupon to save me money. I would definitely recommend! Thank you

Doctor seems to be knowledgeable. My only concern is that I was waiting about 25/30 minutes in the room after they put drops in my eyes. If that is normal time it should be communicated to patients
