Front desk was pleasant and helpful. As a new patient, i was given a comprehensive medical form to complete. Alex did the pre-check and put dilating drops in my eyes, checked my vision, took eye blood pressure, and took retina pShow moreics. Dr Salas had the pre info and we filled in the blanks on my reason for visit. We took care of eye patient history, examined my eyes, and he took care of remaining items to be completed. He was very knowledgeable and explained well.
Dr. Salas was amazing! He has a great manner and took time to explain everything to me and go over all the results from the diabetic testing/exams I underwent. I left with great knowledge and a positive outcome towards better visiShow moreon and overall visual health. I highly recommend Dr. Salas. The office was extremely clean and they have various diagnostic machines onsite which made it easier to get all the needed testing done in 1 visit. I look forward to my follow up appointment.
Elvis Salas, DMSc, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Maryland Vision Center in Frederick, Maryland. He provides exceptional eye care to patients in the Baltimore area.
Dr. Salas is licensed to practice medicine by the state boards of Maryland and Pennsylvania. He completed his medical training at Pennsylvania College of Technology before pursuing his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro College. Dr. Salas then completed his Doctorate of Medical Science degree at the University of Lynchburg, where he studied executive leadership, healthcare law, global health, and research applications. Dr. Salas is a fellow of the American Association of Physician Assistants.
Dedicated to providing patient-centered care, Dr. Salas believes in building a rapport with patients so they feel supported. His goal is to educate patients, so they thoroughly understand their treatment. He wants them to feel confident to ask questions and share any concerns they might have.

They allowed me to come in earlier than my appointment took me in right away after my surgery I was treated very kindly and professionalally .
Today’s follow up to a cataract surgery was right on time and very professionally performed. The technician did a quick exam and quickly followed by Dr Salis who did an exam on the eye operated on. Quick and simple.
He is wonderful!! Very informative and makes everything understandable. Really like him.
Very efficient and helpful office personnel. The doctor and nurse were on time and explained what they were doing. The diagnosis was explained in laymen’s terms and put me at ease.

This is my first year coming to the MDVision Center Everyone is friendly, and professional. The technician is knowledgeable, explaining each step in a way that put me at ease. And Dr. Salas is not only highly skilled in his field but he is patient and takes the time to explain everything in detail.

Dr Salas was very professional without being “stuffy”. His exam was very thorough and he explained my situation completely. His staff were very nice and friendly. I was a former patient of Dr Busack’s and saw his replacement without a good results. My PCP referred me to this practice and as usual she was right! Already have my daughter in line for her next eye exam.
