I have had an excellent experience in this practice as a whole. From the receptionist, to the assistant, to the doctor, every person provided me with a professional yet warm care. I really needed that since I have come from anotheShow morer practice where I didn’t get my needs and questions met. Here, everyone took the time to educate me on my situation and the things that I could do on my side to help and the things the professionals will do to help me. I was really anxious about my situation but I left with a great feeling of calmness. I am so happy I found them!
Excellent I would definitely recommend the doctor was very informative receptionist at the front desk was welcoming. Only thing I would say when the technician brought me back to the room they did not introduce their selves to me.Show more The only person who introduced their self to me was the doctor and he was very nice and friendly even though the technician did not introduce themselves they were nice and friendly as well, so I would recommend this practice.
Elvis Salas, DMSc, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Maryland Vision Center in Frederick, Maryland. He provides exceptional eye care to patients in the Baltimore area.
Dr. Salas is licensed to practice medicine by the state boards of Maryland and Pennsylvania. He completed his medical training at Pennsylvania College of Technology before pursuing his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro College. Dr. Salas then completed his Doctorate of Medical Science degree at the University of Lynchburg, where he studied executive leadership, healthcare law, global health, and research applications. Dr. Salas is a fellow of the American Association of Physician Assistants.
Dedicated to providing patient-centered care, Dr. Salas believes in building a rapport with patients so they feel supported. His goal is to educate patients, so they thoroughly understand their treatment. He wants them to feel confident to ask questions and share any concerns they might have.

Everything about the visit went well. The employees were helpful and kind and Dr. Salas was professional and cognizant of my hearing problem. A very complete eye exam was done as this was my first visit and I am completely satisfied with the care I received.
