This was my first visit to this office, and I will definitely be coming back. Everything was quick, efficient, and easy. Scheduling was a breeze, front desk staff were great, there was no long wait to be seen (one reason I left mShow morey previous practice), and all of the medical personnel were pleasant and professional. No question I will be staying with this practice!
As an established patient, I awoke recently with concerning dark “floaters” in one eye. I called and was given an appointment within 2 hours. Dr. Elvis evaluated me and said I had done the right thing in coming in right away, and Show morereferred me to a Retina Specialist. I am extremely grateful.
Elvis Salas, DMSc, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Maryland Vision Center in Frederick, Maryland. He provides exceptional eye care to patients in the Baltimore area.
He is licensed to practice medicine by the state boards of Maryland and Pennsylvania and completed his medical training at Pennsylvania College of Technology before pursuing his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro College. Elvis then completed his Doctorate of Medical Science degree at the University of Lynchburg, where he studied executive leadership, healthcare law, global health, and research applications. He is a fellow of the American Association of Physician Assistants.
Dedicated to providing patient-centered care, he believes in building a rapport with patients so they feel supported. His goal is to educate patients, so they thoroughly understand their treatment. He wants them to feel confident to ask questions and share any concerns they might have.
To better serve patients at Maryland Vision Center and speaks both English and Spanish.
In his free time outside of the office, Dr. Salas enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with his family and friends.

Easy and quick considering the number of patients being served.
I was seen by Dr. Thadani, and we had the usual thorough exam and Q&A session. Dr. Thadani was highly referred and I have been very pleased to be a patient at Maryland Vision Center.
