I haven’t had the best experiences going to an OB/GYN before. I felt with past doctors that my worries and issues were brushed off or not taken seriously. But Dr. Blake did not make me feel this way. She made me feel heard and likShow moree my health concerns were real and worth finding a solution to. She made me feel comfortable and like I could advocate for myself.

Emily Blake, MD, is a bright and practiced Doctor of Medicine at South Valley Women’s Health Care in Bluffdale, Utah. She provides outstanding care to all patients.
Dr. Blake is a native of Indiana. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) in Marion, Indiana, and her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Indiana University School of Medicine (IU School of Medicine).
She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Ascension St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis before moving to Utah to practice with South Valley Women’s Health Care.
Dr. Blake is trained in the da Vinci robot (The da Vinci Surgical System), a form of robotic surgery, and is passionate about enabling surgical care to get patients back to what matters. She likes keeping up to date with skills, literature, and new technology in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also speaks Spanish.
In her free time, Dr. Blake enjoys running, cycling, hiking, and skiing. After all that activity, she relishes eating delicious meals, whether trying out new restaurants or making the meals herself. She and her husband love exploring Utah, and they recently welcomed their first baby into their family.
