Enrique Sierra, COTA/L

Enrique Sierra, COTA is a compassionate and team-oriented Occupational Therapy Assistant at HQHT whose decade-plus of clinical experience, bilingual communication skills, and genuine commitment to patient relationships shine through in everything he does.

Enrique joined HQHT with over 10 years of experience providing skilled occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric populations across a variety of clinical settings. His career has taken him from outpatient orthopedic clinics to home care to state-level mental health facilities, giving him a uniquely broad and well-rounded perspective on patient care.

He earned his Associate in Science in Occupational Therapy from Keiser University in Orlando, Florida, where he built the clinical foundation that has guided his career ever since.

Enrique's experience spans an impressive range of settings and populations. He has worked with the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Preferred Therapy Solutions, Patient Care/Almost Family Home Care, and Orthopedic Associates of Stamford/WestMed, among others. He is highly skilled in senior care, dementia care, physical agent modalities, and lymphedema management, and holds a specialized certification as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, a credential he pursued through continuing education to expand the therapeutic options available to his patients.

In addition to his clinical work, Enrique has experience as both a Case Manager and a Behavioral Health Specialist, giving him a deep understanding of the whole person, not just the diagnosis. He is also fully bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing him to connect meaningfully with a diverse patient population.

Enrique is warm, collaborative, and deeply invested in the people he cares for. His patients consistently leave sessions feeling supported, heard, and motivated, and he brings that same energy to every member of the HQHT team.
