Great visit. This doctor was so eager to answer questions .. and he told me my eyes are in good shape. I recently decided to leave the doctors office I was with for several years when the person at the check in was rude.. She tolShow mored my copay was $15 .. but then she said I have a copay of $55 for a glare test.. I had never heard of that, was not told I was having a glare test and when I asked.. she was very rude.. and told me I would have to wait for the techs to get off break for the answer.. I decided.. even though I was very happy with my doctor.. I would not put up with her attitude.. I continued with that visit.. told my doctor what happened.. but not going back... She did me a favor because I love Atlantic Eye.. Dr Straut explained what a Glare test is.. and also said.. they don't charge for it. So I believe I was being milked at Tres Vision.. thats my opinion..
Dr Straut is a kind and caring Doctor.. Answers my questions.. and I never feel rushed. And I like the staff too. While I liked the doctor I was with for several years.. he changed to another practice and the person that checked mShow moree in was rude and I decided to look elsewhere.. Not only that.. they would schedule one day for tests and then 3 days later for results.. 2 co pays.. ummm I feel like they were milking me.. I am happy I changed.

The office staff and doctors were amazing. From the time I walked in the door until I left everything flowed smoothly and professionally. This was my first visit and the care & concern they had for my health was apparent they really take good care of their patients and extremely thorough.

First off, the whole staff there is flight and very professional in their duties! Very little wait time throughout the whole process. As far as Dr. Straut goes… He’s great!! He talks to you and explains things to you like you’re a person and not one of his colleagues that should understand everything he says. He’s also very professional and very polite, and knows his business! I highly recommend this practice!!
