April has been an excellent therapist always providing honest feedback while explaining and breaking down the mental health concerns and providing ways to address the issues I present to her. Erika Klara is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with over 8 years of experience in family therapy. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Educational Services from the University of Babes- Bolyai, Cluj-Napoca, Romania and a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University. She has 4 years of experience in documentation standards and evidence-based treatment planning and implementation for MediCal and private medical insurance.
Erika has a proven ability to provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and evaluation. She is skilled at providing strength-based mental health services, crisis evaluation, and intervention services. She is also a strong believer of providing culturally sensitive and appropriate services to individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. She is fluent in English and Hungarian and conversational in Romanian and Spanish. She also has an exceptional ability to coordinate services and referrals, linking patients to appropriate resources and services to support their recovery. She also has experience in providing individual and family therapy to youth on probation. She has expertise in play therapy and expressive art therapy techniques, and emphasizes the use of these techniques to improve the well-being of her patients.
