About Dr. Chaney

Erin Chaney, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and a fellowship-trained pain specialist practicing at Johnston Pain Management, P.A., which has locations in Jacksonville, New Bern, and Sneads Ferry, North Carolina. She has been providing exceptional, compassionate care at the practice since 2012.
Dr. Chaney completed her residency in anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center, where she served as a teaching scholar and was awarded graduate resident of the year. She then went on to complete specialty training in pain management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
To stay up to date with the latest advances in the medical field, Dr. Chaney is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Chaney looks forward to welcoming patients to Johnston Pain Management, P.A., and providing care that diminishes their pain and improves their quality of life.
