Estella Salazar, ACNP

Experienced nurse practitioner Estella Salazar, ACNP-BC, has been working in health care for more than 20 years. She brings this wealth of experience to her role at Spine & Pain Center of San Antonio’s offices in San Antonio and Live Oak, Texas.

Estella graduated from Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas, with a bachelor’s degree. She attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio for both her bachelor’s and master’s nursing degrees. Estella is a board-certified American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) acute care nurse practitioner.

In addition to her experience in pain management, Estella has worked in oncology (cancer care) and diabetic centers. This has given her valuable insight into the issues faced by people with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (a common complication of diabetes) and cancer pain.

Estella looks forward to welcoming new patients to the Spine & Pain Center of San Antonio and seeing those who’ve already come to appreciate her caring manner and extensive expertise.
