I was traveling internationally for a family emergency when I started bleeding. After 4 miscarriages I was really worried that the cramps, pains and bleeding were going to be another tragic loss. I had the worst cell phone connectShow moreion but i called and left a message and i knew they were trying to call me back but the call wouldnt go through, so i had my husband call the office while he messaged me their questions so i could relay my symptoms and get help. The nurse was so kind and helpful, and reassured my husband and myself that there were still a lot of good signs and that they were not worried but that they would see me as soon as I was back. My flight home wasn't for 3 more days, so I took their advice, rested and the next morning after getting home I was in their office. They didn't have to squeeze me in their already packed schedule but they did! I was shaking with tears pouring down my cheeks after getting an ultra sound busy the most amazing ultrasound tech. Baby was happy and healthy and she explained to me very clearly where that blood was coming from. It was the greatest weight off my shoulders to see my baby, active and moving and stretching out. Not only that. But she also clearly saw and found my left ovary! I went to the ER and they told me its gone or almost close to gone but she was like nope its right here! I couldnt have asked for a kinder staff. A staff who understood i was terrified about what could have been, but so releaved after seeing baby was okay. I have no idea how you get together such an amazing staff like everyone who is there, but each person no matter who, cared. Truly they were amazing and im excited to work with them! Would absolutely recommend going here.
I absolutely love Dr.Bechek! I appreciate her always being straight forward and telling me exactly what I need. I have had horrible medical anxiety and she has been so fantastic! I appreciate not only her amazing personality, but Show moreher phenomenal skill! For a short time I work in L&D and she was one of my fav OBs because of her extensive knowledge! Frances Bechek, MD, FACOG, is a Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB/GYN) and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG). Dr. Bechek sees patients at South Valley Women's Health Care in Bluffdale, Utah. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centric, and individualized care to all her patients.
Originally from Northern Michigan, Dr. Bechek received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan (UMich) in Ann Arbor and her Medical Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. She completed her residency training at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
Dr. Bechek and her family moved to Utah in 2014 and absolutely love it here. She is excited to work with the talented team of health care professionals at South Valley Women’s Health Care alongside OB/GYN providers who have served the Salt Lake Valley and Utah for over 30 years.
When she isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Bechek also enjoys spending her time hanging out with her husband and chasing her three wild kids. They seek out many adventures, including whitewater rafting, hiking, and camping. She is also an avid skier and the mountains are her happy place., She enjoys riding her road and bike in the summer.

Dr Bechek is by far the best doctor I’ve ever seen. I’ve never felt more cared for by a healthcare professional. I moved an hour away and will still drive in to keep her as my doctor.

I love Dr Bechek! This is my second baby and I wish she were my doctor for my first. She is super compassionate, funny, and listens to everything you could possibly want to discuss.

Dr. Bechek is the best. She’s made us feel so comfortable and we’re so glad to have found her and this practice! As first time parents we always have lots of questions and she’s always made us feel assured and great about the pregnancy.

Dr. Bechek is everything you could want in a doctor. She's incredible! Very personable, loving, compassionate, and intelligent. She'll gives me all the information I need without complicating things. She leaves room for holding complicated emotions and validating them, presenting facts about the situation, and still reinforcing autonomy to make my own decision. I can't sing her praises more.
