As a clinical intern and counselor-in-training, I use a modern, holistic approach that blends evidence-based practices with contemporary strategies to support long-term, sustainable change. My work centers on each individual's own capabilities, prioritizing collaboration over authoritativeness. In session, we consider personal needs, lived experiences, and external factors that may impact daily functioning and overall well-being. I strive to be present, personable, and attuned to my clients, helping them tap into their own motivation, recognize their strengths, and identify protective factors already present in their lives. As an LGBTQ+ advocate, I am committed to creating safe, affirming spaces where clients can explore challenges openly, set meaningful goals, and take the lead in their own growth. Ultimately, my role is to guide, support, and empower clients, helping them see that change is possible and fostering hope by recognizing their unique talents and inner strengths.
