I would say I was 95 % satisfied with the exam, however I showed Francis photos of my sister who is undergoing intensive chemical peel to her face and chest due to melanoma. I let her know this was a great concern to me as my FathShow moreer also has this same problem. I do not switch Drs, I moved to Texas 4 years ago and am still finding the specialists we need to see, (my wife and I both). Most of the specialists I had in NC had been seeing me for over 15 years, some more than that. My NC dermatologist told me on my first visit over 20 years ago to leave modesty at the door as she had to check EVERYWHERE! She said if its skin it can get cancer! She always had me in a robe, but during the exam she did have me remove my underwear long enough to check all of those areas also. I had let Francis know this also but she only checked around the edge of my underwear and actually I do not remember her checking my bottom at all. I am only examined twice per year since I do get lots of sun but I would prefer to have a full exam. I would be devastated if something was missed for the sake of modesty. I am used to exams so I do not have a problem being examined. I do my exams to be proactive especially for cancer and I would prefer to have a more detailed examination. I am just used to what my NC Dr has done for over 15 years and feel like something was missed. Francis is a very personable lady and I am comfortable continuing with her as her patient. Maybe I should have been more insistent but it was our first exam with her. I have another exam in December so we can see how it goes for that one. Thanks so much for your time and the convenience of being so close to our home. It helps out very much and my wife was very happy with her exam.
I’m only giving three stars due to the fact we walked in needing wart removed and walked out unsatisfied and over charged. Not to mention the front office lady ruined it for me and my kid by being rude, my poor kiddo was so uncomShow morefortable there and stayed the front lady was constantly side eyeing her when I was questioning her overcharging us for just an office visit…. 20% of office visit is all I should’ve been charged instead I paid 75% of an office visit , make it make sense. Had they charged me correctly we would’ve had my kids procedure. Sad environment that they aren’t there for their patients and fight for them and our needs. Provider really didn’t do anything to help us so I can’t really rate her on her care.
Francis Dang, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Lake Jackson. She joined the team in 2020.
Francis graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences in Austin, Texas. She then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she completed a dietetic internship in the Texas Medical Center and earned a Master in Public Health. Her master’s has a special focus on health promotion and behavioral sciences.
She later returned to her hometown of Dallas, where she worked for six years as a registered dietitian for the UT Southwestern Solid Organ Transplant Program. During that time, her passion and interest for medicine grew, and she decided to pursue a new career as a physician assistant. In 2019, she completed a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Radford University in Roanoke, Virginia.
During her time as a registered dietitian, Francis cared for patients with a variety of medical conditions and learned the importance of patient-centered and preventative healthcare, all based on evidence-based medicine. She carried these values with her throughout her medical training and continues to uphold them as a physician assistant. Her interest and passion for dermatology came after experiencing the inner workings of a dermatology clinic during her clinical rotations. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
In her free time, Francis enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and Yorkie pup, Leo. She enjoys cooking, relaxing at home, and trying new restaurants with her husband. She is looking forward to helping patients feel healthy and comfortable in their own skin.

They were kind, attentive, compassionate with the procedure. I didn’t have any negative issues, very satisfied.
One of the rudest people.i have ever ,ever met .i have seen her several times, today was the last time..she has no bed side manner at all .zero none.thought she was having a bad day because everyone is human ,this is the way she always is rude. And now she is about to have a baby ,so extra extra horrible..also, all she does is a throw a cream at you..thats another reason not going back. Even the PA before her.,thats alll he did throw a cream at me for my rash and say OH ,I DONT KNOW WHAT THAT IS ,TRY THIS..been goin on about 10 years. Im.stupid for goin there. No more..!!!!!!
Great experience. Wait time was minimal, seen by the doctor quickly after taken back. It was a good experience overall. Everyone in the office is nice.

The young lady who worked with me was very professional and skilled. I was very happy with my treatment and highly recommend this office.
Staff was amazing, dr polite. in and out in timely manner. Staff and dr answered all questions and addressed any concerns.

Professional and honest
I had gotten a call that day from the Houston office that my appt. was canceled because I didn't have a referrel. Went to this office in LJ and told them what happened. They had no problem in getting a referral that same morning and was able to see the PA. Everybody was very nice and friendly and easy to talk to. The PA checked me thoroughly and was very informative and caring. I will be going back to see her again.
