I had my first visit with Dr.G.Curtis and was extremely impressed. From the moment I walked in, the office staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Dr. Curtis took time to listen carefully, answered all of my questions, anShow mored explained everything in a clear, reassuring way. I never felt rushed and truly felt heard and respected. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines such expertise with genuine compassion. I’m grateful to have found Dr. Curtis and highly recommend them.

Gerard Curtis, MD is a board-certified urologist located in Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch, FL.
Dr. Curtis began his educational career at the University of South Florida, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. From there, he went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Curtis also completed his medical residency at the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Curtis was awarded a fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital. It was there that Dr. Curtis broadened his surgical scope and his expertise in cancer surgery.
He also served as Clinical Post-Doctoral Professor and has authored several publications, including a book chapter titled Locally Advanced Prostate Cancer. In 2008, Dr. Curtis completed his training and certification for da Vinci robotics surgery.

Most recently I had to have a biopsy done on my prostate and Dr Curtis and his nursing staff were excellent. They put me at ease and took the biopsy flawlessly. Highly recommend
