Dr. Akunna has changed my life. This is the first psychiatrist i have seen that doesn't rush me, listens to all of my symptoms and treats ALL of my symptoms. I was at the lowest point of my life when i started working with her aboShow moreut 6 months ago. Now i feel like i am thriving! I enjoy my sessions and she always follows up on anything i have mentioned to her previously. She is very encouraging. Her encouragement and her belief in me is what got me to this point. As a doctorate-prepared and board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in New Jersey, Dr. Akunna has vast experience in psychiatry, including inpatient and outpatient, addiction and recovery, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Dr. Akunna provides psychiatric mental health services for teens (13 years plus) and adults.
