I have been seeing Dr. Kash for several years. I drive from Parrish to Sarasota just to see her. Now that she’s moving to another office, she will be even further from me. Even though I hate to drive, I will still make that haul sShow moreo that she can remain my OB. Let me explain why. Dr. Kash LISTENS! She does not rush you out of her office. You can tell that she cares about you as a patient and honestly, you can tell that she cares about everyone! She seems to have a great relationship with her staff. They’re always laughing and smiling together. I’ve never seen her speak to anyone like they are beneath her and unfortunately, I have witnessed this at some doctor’s offices (never at SWOR Women’s Care), but other offices. I could go on about the above, but the most important thing is that she cares, she listens, she’s kind, and she’s truly passionate about what she does. She’s also gorgeous and wears the cutest scrubs I’ve ever seen! But seriously, she never forgets who you are. A year can go by and it still feels like she knows and remembers you and what’s going on in your life. She brings a small town feel to a not so small area. If you need an OB who actually listens to you, who doesn’t make you feel rushed, who truly cares about your health, who treats you like an actual person and not just another name on her list, who doesn’t try telling you how YOU feel, Dr. Kash is your doctor!
The front desk associates were warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. I especially enjoyed meeting Nurse Norma, who completed my intake. She has a bright smile, a kind personality, and a friendly demeanor that immediately pShow moreut me at ease. Dr. Kash is amazing. Although this was only my second appointment, the lab work she ordered was comprehensive and provided tremendous clarity about where I am currently and how we can formulate a plan moving forward. Her enthusiasm for patient care is contagious. Too often, women feel ignored, dismissed, or rushed by healthcare providers. With Dr. Kash, I felt truly heard. She was present, engaged, and took the time to listen and explain. That alone has eased much of my anxiety about what lies ahead as I enter perimenopause. Having a knowledgeable partner to help navigate what can feel like such a gray area for women is incredibly reassuring. Michael Swor, MD, FPMRS is a well-known top-ranked gynecologist who has been serving women of all ages in and around Sarasota, Florida, for over 25 years. He founded Swor Women’s Care to provide the highest-quality, patient-focused gynecological care for every stage of a woman’s life.
Dr. Swor earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed his OB/GYN specialty training at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. Since then, Dr. Swor has continued to study and expand his expertise with emerging best practices and technologies. He is double board-certified in OBGYN and female reconstructive surgery and was one of few gynecologists in the country certified in MIGS, minimally-invasive gyn surgery. I have been a patient of Dr. Swor for many years, I would highly recommend his office to anybody looking. I also get my mammograms there since they’ve offered the service. Best care and friendly faces.
Excellent physician and office.
Dr. Swor was very professional by explaining everything he did namely, Pap smear and internal exam. He also explained future procedures if necessary. I felt he answered all my questions thoroughly and empathetically, and his time with me was not rushed.

Gynecological exams can be uncomfortable and anxiety-inducing, but they treated me with respect, kindness, and sensitivity throughout the entire visit. Dr. Shedd took the time to listen, answered my questions thoroughly, and never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. Her warm and reassuring demeanor made what could have been a stressful appointment a very positive experience.
