I had an 11am appointment. I was there 5 minutes early to check in. I did not see the doctor until 12:20. My blood pressure was 150. I was annoyed. I spoke to the front desk. But they were unable to tell me anything but that I waShow mores the next patient to go back which wasn't true. Luckily, I think dr. Cardenas is a fabulous doctor. I would hate to leave him for another practice. When I dialed the wrong extension to get a prescription, his assistant almost chastised me for not knowing that I shouldn't have called the wrong depth (who was much more pleasant than she was) Today when I told her that I was annoyed at the delay, she said "take it up with the doctor." Well, excuse me!
I had 2 hospitalizations from TIA’s which happened within one month of each other. They left me examining my mortality and living in fear of it happening again. When I saw Dr. Cardenas he assured me that he would do everything Show morepossible to find the cause of them and he has kept his word. After each appointment with him my fears dissolve and my trust in him finding a cause and solution multiplies. I am so grateful to have found him!
Gustavo Cardenas, MD, FACC, is a highly trained and experienced interventional cardiologist and vascular medicine specialist at South Palm Cardiovascular Associates. At the practice in Delray Beach, Florida, he provides direct patient care and consultative services.
He is dedicated to the prevention, evaluation, and management of cardiac and vascular problems non-invasively and invasively. When clinically indicated, Dr. Cardenas performs coronary procedures through radial access (transradial), an approach that leads to better procedural outcomes and improved patient comfort. He also performs outpatient endovenous ablation for the treatment of varicose veins.

He takes his time, makes you feel that you are the most important thing in his day. He listens to you, not just pretending he is, and respects what you say. His advice is solid and medically sound. He is kind and caring. I give him my highest recommendation!!
I really want the word to get out how GREAT they all are in the office. Starting from walking in till leaving they all care for your health.
The front office’s and drs attitude is terrible told the dr and front office I wouldn’t be back and Cardenas said there are a lot of good cardiologist out there I think that’s ridiculous !!
