I’m beyond happy with my Southern New Hampshire Internal med office. I was in the Ed over the weekend and your office automatically called me to set up a follow-up appointment as soon as possible with Heather. Heather Bortz is a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) who joined SNHIMA in 2022. She serves patients at the Bedford office and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. Before joining SNHIMA, Heather worked as a Physician Assistant at New England Allergy in North Andover, MA. Her professional journey also includes a background in respiratory therapy, with 15 years of experience working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in both Pennsylvania and New Hampshire.
Heather pursued her undergraduate education at Penn State University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Life Science. She continued her academic journey at MCPHS Manchester, where she completed her master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Her commitment to lifelong learning and education ensures that she stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare.
Outside of her busy schedule caring for patients, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her family. She and her husband reside in New Boston and have two children. Her interests include beach outings, camping adventures, maintaining an active lifestyle, and cheering for the Philadelphia Flyers. Fantastic best doctor ever had
My first meeting with Heather made me feel so comfortable, I told others of her bedside manner and her "concerned for patient" attitude. It was a great experience. During my first visit with Heather, I felt like I was talking to an old friend. Rarely, would I give 5 stars after a first visit, but she is an exception. I may never have to look for another doctor.

Called with a concern with Blood pressure issue and the office got me in with Heather within 15 -20 minutes. She was very nice and started her evaluation. Very pleased!
Meeting Heather when I was assigned to her because my doctor was not available was a pleasurable experience in spite of not feeling well. She was very personable, warm, and caring and by collaborating with me, figured out what was going on and how to deal with it. She is one of the many staff there that make me happy to be a patient at SNHIMA.

I needed urgent care for an imbedded deer tick. I received an appointment 45 minutes from the time of my call. Not only was Heather very proficient but she demonstrated an authentic, personable, and compassionate manner as well as an appropriate sense of humor. I never felt rushed or dismissed for my concerns. She deserves an extra chocolate treat for Easter!
