Firstly, your office manager Joyce is an asset to your office. She responded promptly to my concerns over my inability to contact your office for an appointment by phone and online. Likewise, she promptly attempted to correct thatShow more situation by speaking with your web team. Also, she very consciously tried to get me an appointment fitting my schedule, and she did. However, I was rathered disappointed with the patient/doctor arrangements at your Flushing office. The patient waiting area is unbecoming of a medical office with your prominence. It is too small and unaccomodating for the volume of patient. If a patient is wheelchair bound, where is this patient to wait. Then, I was told this office only has one doctor on duty on any given day. How can this be the case? The patient volume at this office has to equal to or more than your office at 139 Centre. setup. But you would not think of staffing that office with just one doctor. Overall, maybe rethinking a new location that is more accommodating for your patients would be an issue for discussion in one of your next operations meeting.
Chinatown Cardiology is a pretty good size healthcare provider specialized in, well, cardiology. They seemly have institutionalized well tune processes allowing the patients to be going through numerous consultations, check-ups, Show moreand other treatments fairly smoothly without prolonged wait states. Staff are professional and friendly, even in light of the substantial number of patients through the Manhattan facility in that morning of my visit. Dr. Lau was understandably knowledgeable and, above all, spent the time to listen and explain to me the issues in question and the needed procedures to go through.
Dr. Henry Siu earned his Medical Degree from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education/SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He completed his post-graduated training in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital, and Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Siu has expertise in general cardiology, multi-modality cardiac imaging, and vascular imaging. As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Siu is highly skilled in cardiac catheterizations and peripheral vascular interventions, and management of complex coronary/valvular heart disease. He has proven experience in private practice and in the academic setting, with focus on providing the highest quality care and most up-to-date diagnostic and treatment strategies. In his free time, Dr. Siu enjoys exercising and playing the piano. Dr. Siu speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
