Holly Majerus, SAC-IT

Holly is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Substance Use Counselor, and Art Therapist. She enjoys using art in her sessions as art therapy can be a creative way to explore identity, understand and express emotions, and learn to cope with life?s challenges. She is also trained in EMDR therapy (a trauma treatment that helps clients address limiting beliefs and manage distress.) Holly is a person-centered, and relational therapist meaning she values empathy, compassion, trust, and safety within the therapeutic relationship between herself and her clients. She is passionate about connecting with people and wholeheartedly believes in treating the individual person and therefore uses multiple modalities in therapy. Holly offers a space for people to explore their sense of self, past and present relationship dynamics, unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors, identifying feelings and needs, and helping folks learn personalized coping skills.
