Huma Irshad, MD

Dr. Huma Irshad is a board-certified Family Medicine physician dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. Licensed in both Connecticut and New York, she brings a wealth of clinical experience across primary and urgent care settings to Greenwich Primary Care

Dr. Irshad earned her medical degree from Baqai Medical College and completed her Family Medicine residency at NSLIJ Southside Hospital in New York and Altru Health Center in North Dakota. Prior to joining the practice, she served as an Attending Physician at primary care clinics and high-volume urgent care centers across the Northeast. Alongside her clinical practice, she has contributed to pulmonary and critical care research at Beth Israel Hospital in New York.

Dr. Irshad is also one of the area's only civil surgeons and is USCIS-certified to perform INS Immigration Exams for patients across Greenwich Primary Care in both offices. Deeply committed to making healthcare accessible to diverse communities, Dr. Irshad is fluent in English, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.
