Hussein Azzam, MD, is a board-certified allergy and immunology physician at Asthma, Allergy, & Immunology Center, serving people of all ages at two locations in Livonia and Lathrup Village, Michigan.
Dr. Azzam was born and raised in Syria. He earned his medical degree from the University of Damascus in Damascus, Syria, and moved to the United States shortly thereafter.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Azzam completed a pediatric residency at St. Joseph Mercy and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He also participated in a fellowship in allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Azzam proudly holds membership in the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. As a doctor, he has special interests in chronic sinusitis, chronic urticaria, pediatric allergies, and hard-to-control asthma.
Dr. Azzam sees adult and pediatric allergy patients at the Livonia office Monday through Friday and works out of the Lathrup Village office on Saturdays.
