Ian Perkins, PA-C: Ian joined Sanford Dermatology in 2023. Ian has a special interest in procedural dermatology, skin cancer prevention and treatment, cosmetic dermatology, as well as emerging treatments for alopecia. Ian obtained an undergraduate degree in Political Studies from Gordon College. He then worked in EMS as a full-time paramedic prior to entering Physician Assistant training at the University of New England in Portland, ME. He is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
In his free time, Ian enjoys taking on DIY projects at home, learning new cooking techniques, and has had a lifelong interest in aviation.
