Iris Malig is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of the Philippines Manila in 2000. She began her nursing career practicing at the Philippine General Hospital before migrating to the US. She moved to Las Vegas in 2006 and continued her nursing career at Sunrise Hospital for more than 15 years.
Iris primarily practiced as a medical-surgical nurse for 21 years, working with different medical professionals and adult patients, developing a never-ending passion for her profession. This passion led to her pursuit of higher education and she completed her degree from the Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner program at Touro University Nevada in 2023.
Outside of work, Iris and her husband Paul enjoy spending time with their two pups Trixie and Lexi, traveling, and being with their family and friends.
