Dr. Walks is absolutely amazing. He listens with empathy, understands my pain, and never makes me feel rushed or judged. His support helped me feel seen, validated, and empowered to take the steps necessary manage my symptoms and improve my mental health.
Dr. Walks is fantastic, he actively listens, expertly diagnoses based off of symptoms and patient report, and he adapts the plan of care as he sees fit. He is available within a few days time for 15 minute followup appointments. However, I have been a patient of Dr. Walks for 5 years now and sometimes there is a disconnect with his staff processing medication refills, ie: wrong pharmacy, incorrect number of tablets to last 90 days and only filling 30-45 days. Thanks for the great care Dr. Walks!

Dr Ivan Walks meet the criteria of an ideal psychiatrist. Over 25 years I have dealt with more than a handful off psychiatrist. Some would pretend to listen while concocting a plan to generalize a solution . Dr Walks in his profession, treated me as an individual surprisingly, he listened he cared and would casually make smile.Dr Walks insured me that this would not be an individual process, He unwavering stood on that we are now a TEAM. not once did he give me the impression that he wanted to bandage the problems I was facing. He was very straightforward on letting me know that this would be a journey, but at the end of this journey, he would provide me with 100% of his capabilities to permanently fix my issues. So I can live my life amongst the norm, to value each day, reach for goals, understand the moments I encounter, love and respect myself.
