My first time to see Dr. Ratcliffe was a positive experience. He was quick to address my concern, explaining the reasons that my corn kept returning. I found him to be helpful in understanding the root of the problem. He removed iShow moret within minutes, and I walked out of office with a lot of relief! When I asked the receptionist what the charge would be to Medicare, I was told she didn't know, as it comes from another billing office. The receptionist and office seem professional, and I did not have to wait long, so overall everything went well, I would give 5 stars had it not been for the very confusing parking situation. I would have given 5 stars, however, the parking was a bit confusing, as entering this narrow driveway I wasn't sure where to park, it seemed that parking was full. I continued down the driveway in front of a nursing home, so realized I had to U-turn and ended up in underground parking lot, going up a steep staircase to 1st flr., then going up more stairs to reach his office, which was at that point located to the top of the stairs on the right, a few steps away. There is an elevator, but I chose the stairs instead.
Dr Ratcliff treated me for a couple plantar warts that had been around for 15-20years. He “zapped” them with a Swift machine that currently only available thru him and maybe one other in the Bay Area. After 5 treatments, looks lShow moreike one is gone and the other is improving. I had gone thru 8 “acid” type treatments with no improvement but acute persistent pain for the 24-48hrs each time, after the treatment. I had also try internet treatment, Wartabater, and was useless. On the contrary, Swift was just a couple seconds of burning sensations during treatment. Much much much better, and most importantly it works. Hopefully, my second wart will be gone as well. Kudos to Dr Ratcliff for having the initiative to be a provider of Swift treatment that many other medical groups refused to provide, for the reason of not wanting to deal with insurance. Without him, the treatment will not have been available in the Bay Area.

An avid runner and triathlete for 30+ years, Dr. Ratcliff specializes in running-related injuries. He completed the California Ironman in 2000 and has run several marathons, including Boston and New York. Dr. Ratcliff has suffered many of the common overuse injuries he treats daily. He takes a whole-body approach to foot and ankle health, and gladly provides nutrition, exercise, and footwear suggestions for his patients.
Dr. Ratcliff maintains membership with the American Podiatric Medical Association, California Podiatric Medical Association, American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, and Silicon Valley Podiatric Medical Society. He is on staff with the Podiatry Services Department at Stanford Hospital. He is also affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital, Silicon Valley Surgery Center, Waverly Surgery Center, and Bascom Surgery Center.
A Los Gatos native, Dr. Ratcliff received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1991. He completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Los Angeles in 1992. He and his wife live in Los Gatos and have two adult sons. You might run into him after hours surfing, skiing, or hiking with his family.

Dr. Ratcliff did surgery on my broken right foot more than 10 years ago. It was a nasty break, but it healed well and I have had no subsequent issues. So when a recurring callous on my left foot was causing me to limp, I went back to someone I could trust. He took care of the issue and gave me good advice as to how to handle future problems.

Dr. Ratcliff was kind and patient in explaining my injury and answering all of my questions.
