Dr. Jana Wheeler is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has been a Nurse Practitioner for 24 years and a Registered Nurse for 30 years. She has primarily practiced in Pediatrics. To be part of the solution of the Mental Health crisis that was so apparent after the COVID pandemic, she decided to go back for her 4th degree in Nursing to get more training in Psychiatry. She saw a the lack of Mental Health Providers in the Beafort County area as a need that she could help with. Now she is providing Mental Health and Psychiatry services for all ages.
