Janine Dewitt, PMHNP

Janine is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who graduated from Decker College of Nursing in Binghamton, NY. She has a background working in direct support and case management with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. Her time working with adults and children with IDD and behavioral health needs influenced her to pursue a career in the mental health field and shaped her perspective as a person-centered provider of care. Janine has had clinical experience and training at the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) and the Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Department at UHS Binghamton General Hospital. She has also had clinical training at GBHC Children and Adolescent Outpatient Behavioral Health Center and NEPA Community Health Care Clinic. Her goal is to take her clinical skills learned in inpatient and outpatient settings to provide holistic care in a community-based setting for individuals and families.
