I have been to several podiatrists in the past for several issues and by far Dr. Maker is the best I have been to. I knew after the first visit that I was going to keep going to Dr. Maker from now on. Dr. Maker is extremely knowShow moreledgeable in his profession regarding the foot and ankle. I had broken my big toe and he is the only one that actually told me the exact fracture I had and showed me on the x-rays. I would highly recommend this practice and see for yourself.
I just can’t say enough about how wonderful Dr. Maker is! He was able to diagnose my 10 year old daughters broken foot quickly with his on site X-ray machine, and we were in and out within 30 minutes. We received much more detaiShow moreled information, way better and faster care than we did from urgent care, who missed diagnosing her break. He was so kind and patient while explaining everything to her. You won’t find a more knowledgeable, kind and attentive podiatrist around!

I recently need the services of a podiatrist. I searched the web and found North Suburban Foot and Ankle Center which is located in Mars. This is a family run podiatry practice. Dr. Jared Maker and his wife Kristyn make an excellent team. From my first encounter with Kristyn at the reception desk, their state of the art office, relaxing atmosphere and clinical professionalism, I knew I made a good choice. I highly recommend Dr. Maker and Kristyn.

Dr. Maker & his staff were very friendly & thorough. Dr. Maker spent alot of time with me & really listened to me about my specific foot issues. He then took the time to physically assess my foot including taking x-rays. Then he took the time to discuss various treatment options with me & we worked together to pick the best combination of treatment options for me.

Extremely professional services from all employees
Dr. Maker was very knowledgeable and professional. He easily diagnosed my problem and came up with an easy solution, while explaining the next steps if it wasn't resolved. His RN, Kristen was very pleasant and returned a phone call after hours and answered a question I thought of later.
Wonderful office from my phone call for the first time to getting in the next day to see the doctor. He did a wonderful job cutting my toenails . He was so friendly and personable and caring as was the receptionist who is also his wife . So happy that I called and glad to be going to their office, I saw wonderful reviews online and that’s prompted me to call and make an appointment .

My experience at North Suburban Foot & Ankle Center was like visiting a close friend's house. Dr. Maker and Kristyn could not have been more gracious hosts. From the appointment making process through the procedure and to making a second appointment, every aspect flowed without concern. I felt welcomed and appreciated as a patient. I was in competant hands and was confident my issue was being properly handled. I will return as a patient.
Kristyn is Dr. Makers wife she is wonderful and Dr Maker takes his time, everything clearly spelled out. great to find Dr. Maker will see him for my foot ankle needs in future .
