Today's visit took 2.5 hrs for my yrly exam because of lengthy wait times between segments performed by the assistants before finally seeing Dr. Darlington. It was reminiscent of the unfortunate wait times when he was part of the Show moreprevious eye care business, but which initially, seemed much improved with Atlantic Eye. Also, although I have been his patient for several years, it would be most reassuring and courteous if he would address the patient, me, by my name when he enters the exam room. However, i still give him five stars because, most importantly, Dr. Darlington is an excellent opthomologist and eye surgeon. Anyone can tell that he 'knows his stuff' and can and does explain any visual problems in a way one can understand along with options to resolve those issues. Thank you, Dr. Darlington

Good doctor and explains everything, but have a very long wait every time I have an appointment - sometime an hour plus. I only see the doctor for maybe a total of 5 minutes. Also the staff does not communicate that there is a long wait.
Very Pleasant office. Doctor did a great job. I now have 20-20 vision. Staff really nice. Dr Darlington is easy on the eyes before and after surgery
I sat in the waiting room for a while. I was taken back for Surgery. Was put to sleep. Didn't feel a thing. Somebody gently woke me up. Took me to the exit and I was on my way home. No pain.... And now I can see a whole lot better!!!
I can make early morning appointments to avoid missing work. I get in and out in a timely manner and still feel like everything is covered and questions answered. Everyone is professional, friendly and caring. I expected a positive experience because my eye doctor made the recommendation, but everyone has exceeded my expectations. I would recommend them to everyone.

He gave a very comprehensive evaluation and exams He explained everything that I wanted to know He communicated well. He had some excellent medical assistants. I have know Dr. Darlington for several years when he first saw me for cataract removal and the purchase of new lenses. I will be seeing him in September for an additional short laser procedure.

Everyone was professional as well as friendly. I was intrigued with many of the eye machines. I made an appt with the nurse for the next week. An hour later they called and said one of my tests didn’t turn out and that I couldn’t see the nurse until Sept 22 UNLESS I was willing to go to Rockledge. I offered to come back to retake the test but was told the machine was suddenly broken and again I would have to go to Rockledge. I adamantly refused so now I don’t go back until September 22. This is ridiculous.
Excellent as usual the VA has been sending me to Dr D for a long time and I'm very happy with the services that I get.
My glaucoma has improved dramatically. Excellent care
Had 6 month follow up for cataract surgery on both eyes. Appointment was at 1:25 and I left at 2:35. Disappointed that it took one hour and ten minutes to get it done.

Dr. Darlington is a very professional, patient and down to earth individual. He sits and speaks with you in a calm, knowledgable and down to earth manner. He speaks with you in a calm way-a way that is simple where one can understand. He patient and not in a rush to be rid of you- In other words he listens and then he relies in simple language that you can understands. There is fluster and Rush as to say I have to be out. HE LISTENS . One could not ask for a more Professional and pleasant individual.

Anyone would be apprehensive at first to have Cataract surgery. But Dr Darlington prepared me so well. I understood what to expect and I will say it was an even better outcome than I anticipated. I was excited to get the second eye down. My vision, light, color etc all greatly improved. The doctor, the staff and the surgery center all performed with efficiency and skill. I am so glad my optometrist sent me to Dr. Darlington.
The staff in front desk are always pleasant and helpful. Dr. Darlington Assistants are also friendly and explain what test they are giving. Dr Darlington is a excellent doctor and will explain any thing I ask about my eyes. Also, he takes his time to listen and doesn't rush off. I know he has many patients besides myself. But, I really enjoy going to his office and the great staff.

After nearly three weeks of increasing eye pain and an ongoing sense of a foreign body, Dr Darlington quickly found and removed an ingrown eyelash, fixing a problem mis-diagnosed as infection by two previous providers. I had relief in seconds. As previous reviewers have observed, there was about an hour wait, but the place was jamming. Every staff member was courteous and helpful. As a recently retired ER RN, I was pleasantly surprised with efficiency and the outcome. Excellent work.
