I have now been a patient of Dr. Ray for almost four years. During that time I have had two bridges and a nightguard made in addition to the replacement of several 20-plus year old fillings replaced and the filling of several newShow more cavities. Some of the new and replacement fillings were under bridges or in very difficult places to reach, i.e., backside of molars. All of his work has been excellent. Dr. Ray has what they call in baseball and football "soft hands". He makes the difficult plays look easy and as a dental patient his work in my mouth is done the same way.
Dr Jason Ray is an amazing dentist. I had several old fillings that needed to be drilled out and replaced with new fillings. Also had cracks in a few back teeth which needed caps. All I can tell you is that there was absolutelyShow more no pain during or after these procedures. No pain with Novocain injections at all, the drilling took awhile, as expected, so I thought I would be sore next day, but to my surprise, felt nothing. I will be returning to Dr. Ray in the future. Very grateful I was referred to Dr. Ray, and that he does impeccable work.
Dr. Jason Ray received his Bachelor of Arts in chemistry in 1999 followed by completing his dental degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2003. He continues his education whenever he can and currently attends over 40 hours of continuing education per year to stay up to date on the latest dental practices. Dr. Ray has had advanced training as a Premier Preferred Invisalign® Provider and has been using CEREC technology to make same-day dental crowns for the past 15 years.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Society and the West LA Dental Society. He was chosen as one of the Top Dentists in Colorado for four years prior to moving to California to practice in the Santa Monica area, where he has been practicing for almost three years.
Dr. Ray’s goal as a dentist is to provide the highest quality dental care in order to help people save their teeth. He believes that people that keep their teeth live longer than people who do not.
He has been married to his wife, Cammy, since 2006 and she has helped him run two of his dental offices in Colorado as a hygienist and office manager. Together, they have one son, Eli, and a daughter, Elexus. Their children’s involvement in the acting industry is what led their family to move California in 2017.
In his spare time, Dr. Ray enjoys playing golf, going skiing and hanging out at the beach with his family.

I've been going to this dental office for care for over 40 years. For at least 18 of those years, I travel over 65 miles R/T. I do this because they are very good at what they do. My dental hygienist is excellent and Dr. Ray is also an excellent dentist, which is apparent based on the distance I travel.

I highly recommend Dr Ray. He provides excellent dental care with state of the art equipment. I have sent several friends to see him and they too are pleased. Dr Ray took over my previous dentist’s practice just before the pandemic. I was hesitant to try a new dentist at first, but I’m glad I did. He is reasonably priced and can make an enamel crown in only one office visit- no need for temporaries.
