This was an excellent appointment. I met with Bernadette the nurse practitioner first and she went over all my test results in full detail. She is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable, kind and patient. Nothing but the best. Show moreI then met with Dr. Mahajan and he is equally as amazing, kind and caring. They both made me feel at ease about my concerns. The only thing I noticed is when checking out there are so many girls checking patients out that I feel like they need partitions in between each one. There are so many of them and they talk over each other to the individuals they are checking out and you hear everyone else's business and can't hear very well. Also I don't know why when checking in at the office you have to re-enter all your information on a kiosk that you had to do on line before your appt. Kind of annoying.

Then PA Bernard came in the room again a great experience. Finally I met Dr. Mahajan. In my many years I've met many Doctors. Dr. Mahagan was very impressive which made me feel I was at the right medical office thus looking forward to my upcoming treatments.
Jay Mahajan, DO, is a board-certified neurologist at Las Vegas Neurology Center. He has resided in Las Vegas, Nevada, for over ten years. Born and raised on the West coast, he has anchored himself in Nevada and is dedicated to serving the Las Vegas community.
Dr. Mahajan was selected to be a member of the University of California at San Francisco's biomedical internship program at a young age, sparking his interest in medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley University and University of Southern California in biological sciences and biomedical ethics, where he was on the Dean’s list and a member of the Biology Scholar’s Program.
After achieving his undergraduate degree, Dr. Mahajan relocated to Nevada where he received his medical degree at Touro University Nevada. Upon completion of medical school here in the Valley, Dr. Mahajan felt invested in the Las Vegas community. Devoted to maintain his medical services, he accepted a position in the neurology residency program at the Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas where he served as Chief Resident. He was awarded Resident of the Year honors in addition to awards for service excellence during his residency.
He is co-founder of Las Vegas Neurology Center and the primary neurologist for Centennial Hills Hospital. He was nominated and elected by his peers to serve as a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Centennial Hills Hospital. In January 2016, he was selected as Outstanding Physician at Centennial Hill Hospital. He is also core faculty for the Neurology Residency Program at the Valley Hospital Medical Center, where he thoroughly enjoys teaching residents and medical students. Practicing medicine and teaching is one of Dr. Mahajan’s greatest passions. During his free time he also enjoys reading, exercising, and traveling.
Dr. Mahajan was awarded the Top Doctor Award for Top Neurologist 2016-2017 & Vegas Top Doctors 2020.

Hard to find your way around the medical campus, but went inside. Excellent service. Front staff was very helpful. Dr visit was outstanding.
Was not happy, I was told I had dementia/Alzheimer’s, missed diagnosis found out thru my primary she would not sign off on it, my mom passed away with this disease, which I personally got tested for, Dr did not call to apologize had his assistant do it not happy had test done back in Oct/Nov finally received my results Monday 5/11 from my new Doctor I will seeing now

Dr. Mahajan is truly what all doctors should be. Unfortunately many doctors and staff become desensitized in their field and forget that they are dealing with people in a frightening ordeal. The entire LV Neurology Center were amazing! From the check in staff to Chantel and Dr Mahajan. Chantel was very thorough with questions asked and Dr Mahajan was professional and caring. Thank you!

Dr. Mahajan is very informative and highly recommended. The staff and nurse are also very nice. The wait time was a little over 90 minutes. My appt was at 3:30, so I arrived at 3:15. I didn’t get called back for an hour at 4:15 and then the doctor come and did the 5 minute injections are at 4:40pm. If it wasn’t for the long wait, I would have giving 5 stars.

Dr Mahajan and his staff was awesome. Very personable, caring and most importantly he took the time to get to know me. My experience was very positive. From the time I arrived to the time I left I felt very welcomed and satisfied with the tremendous customer service. Thank you for the great experience.
I never see him, how can I rate him? He was supposed to look at my scans himself, but I guess he already left for the day while I was sitting in an exam room. I still haven't heard back about it.

Excellent doctors, wait time wasn’t too bad.
Went for the leg issues,Dr was trying to sell me a test for Alzheimer's,not only that he tried to give me some sleeping pills while I have no problem with that.theworst part was he didn't look at my MRI and CT test. In my opinion he is a nice man but legal drug pusher.
Brief but very thorough explanation
Dr. Mahajan is very thorough and empathetic. Listens and explains and helps you understand the process to get to the root cause of your medical issues., Very pleasantly informative.
