I feel it is an honor and privilege to leave this outstanding Testimonial for Dr. Mahajan and his staff. I was a Standardized Patient (SP) and became the Lead Standardized Patient Trainer for the University of Nevada Reno Medical Show moreSchool for seven years. We, as SP's, had not only to accurately portray Medical Cases for the students to diagnose but more importantly assess their Behaviors and critique their quality and level of care. A score of '3' was Passing, a score of '4' was a High Pass and if a score of '5' was awarded we had to give three specific reasons why. To begin, I have been in airports smaller than your huge office (I know that requires a lot of moving parts.) At first I must admit I was afraid I was going to be just another patient lost in that proverbial shuffle that practices much smaller seem to always have. My visit began with a warm 'Welcome' and was told where to check in. Amy, was very welcoming and we found out we had birthdays one day apart. As she left she said 'thank You for being so pleasant' I forgot the name of the young woman who did my assessment but she listened to all my questions and showed signs of concern and care. All of the Staff did this: they listened, clarified my statements, and asked about any and all of my concerns. Best of all? No one interrupted my nonstop description of my problem. Dr Mahajan also did all the above, but he also had that rare 'It' Factor that only a few Drs have. He was very welcoming, showed genuine concern, apologized for being a bit late and summarized my concerns as he asked for feedback. As he left he gave me a warm handshake and said 'We are going to take care of you'. Not 'I' but 'WE'. I also received my instructions on how to follow up and what I needed to do that afternoon. I wish some of my current Drs. and Staff would even display half of Dr Mahajan and his team's level of care. My Cardiologist's Medical Assistant lied to me THREE times!?! I have had many Drs and Dr Mahajan is easily in my Top Five. Best of all? I know my experience with Dr Mahajan, his team and the practice of Las Vegas Neurology will continue Thank you so much, Dan Kimm
Dr. Mahajan is exceedingly great in so many ways: He is knowledgeable, very charismatic, compassionate, kindhearted, and the list goes on. I am a patient at LVN since 2017, but started seen Dr. Jay Mahajan since the beginning of 2Show more026, and I am a Clinical professional myself; as such, I can attest that Dr. M. is outstandingly updated in his field and other related fields. He also possesses skills that allow him to deliver wonderful bedside manner: he remembers details about his patients (and their families!) beyond of what he can read in one’s electronic medical records before he enters the room. He makes his patients feel at ease, welcomes input from the patient (something many clinicians do not even consider), and takes the time to explain in detail his Plan of Care, his Pharmacotherapies, his diagnosing tools (when ordering labs, imaging - CTscans, MRIs, etc.- and referrals/derivation to other specialists. I am giving 5 stars because it is the maximum allowed: he deserves 20 or more.

he is like an old fashioned doctor, he sits down in the chair comes close and talks to you and treats you like a human being and listens to everything you have to say.. One of my favorites just love him. very empathetic
Very good at explaining to my wife and I the test and what will follow. Listened and very personable
Dr.Mahajan is a great doctor! I have been his patient since 2017. He is very caring and compassionate and he explains everything and he orders test if you need them.
At tentative explanation of what’s going on and continued treatments were verge resourceful.
Very professional!
Good doctor
I didn't see Dr Mahajan this last visit, but his NP, "Toto" was great! Attentive, listened to all I had to say and took action.
He’s an excellent doctor very knowledgeable and professional. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. We’ll definitely be coming back. He’s going to be our doctor from now on. He’s the best!
Everyone was professional. Clinic staff, technicians and Dr. were all well mannered and treated me with patience.
It was cool
I normally see Dr. B, but he was out today. I liked that Dr. M was very knowledgeable and confident about my conditions, but the appointment felt very hurried/rushed. Like he was in a hurry to be moving on. I had a document of questions that I had wanted to go over, but didn't get a chance for all of them .

Dr. Mahajan takes time to understand the patient by asking questions and providing information to educate his patient about procedures etc.
When he entered the room, he was very welcoming, and once he realized it was me, he seemed genuinely happy to see me. He was very professional.
It went well
Great doctor

a very professional and likable gentleman. Explained everything in detail. Extremely knowledgeable and I felt comfortable. I know I am in good hands
Dr. Mahajan reviewed my tests but did not mention anything I could do to decrease the pain and stiffness.
Staff is friendly and efficient. Medical professionals are very thorough and patient. Everyone that I have interacted with seems like they enjoy what they do very much and really care about getting patients the help they need.
