I have been a patient of Dr. Mahajan for several years, and I can’t say enough good things about the care he provides. He consistently goes above and beyond and is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and attentive. One of the thiShow morengs I appreciate most is his ability to explain things clearly and efficiently. Appointments never feel unnecessarily drawn out, yet I also never feel rushed or leave without understanding what we discussed. He has a very positive and uplifting approach that makes even difficult or frustrating medical issues feel more manageable. I also had the opportunity to work with him professionally at one point, which gave me an additional perspective on the level of care and dedication he brings to his patients. Dr. Jay Mahajan, DO always greets me with a smile and a hand shake to welcome me back. He has great bedside manner, he always takes the time to talk to me regarding my last treatment, and how well it is working and to see if therShow moree are any areas of concern we need to focus on. I always look forward to seeing him, as this treatment could make one nervous and always assures me through the treatment and makes me feel very comfortable. I truly believe his professionalism, his at ease approach to treatments has made all the difference in my care. Jay Mahajan, DO, is a board-certified neurologist at Las Vegas Neurology Center. He has resided in Las Vegas, Nevada, for over ten years. Born and raised on the West coast, he has anchored himself in Nevada and is dedicated to serving the Las Vegas community.
Dr. Mahajan was selected to be a member of the University of California at San Francisco's biomedical internship program at a young age, sparking his interest in medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley University and University of Southern California in biological sciences and biomedical ethics, where he was on the Dean’s list and a member of the Biology Scholar’s Program.
After achieving his undergraduate degree, Dr. Mahajan relocated to Nevada where he received his medical degree at Touro University Nevada. Upon completion of medical school here in the Valley, Dr. Mahajan felt invested in the Las Vegas community. Devoted to maintain his medical services, he accepted a position in the neurology residency program at the Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas where he served as Chief Resident. He was awarded Resident of the Year honors in addition to awards for service excellence during his residency.
He is co-founder of Las Vegas Neurology Center and the primary neurologist for Centennial Hills Hospital. He was nominated and elected by his peers to serve as a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Centennial Hills Hospital. In January 2016, he was selected as Outstanding Physician at Centennial Hill Hospital. He is also core faculty for the Neurology Residency Program at the Valley Hospital Medical Center, where he thoroughly enjoys teaching residents and medical students. Practicing medicine and teaching is one of Dr. Mahajan’s greatest passions. During his free time he also enjoys reading, exercising, and traveling.
Dr. Mahajan was awarded the Top Doctor Award for Top Neurologist 2016-2017 & Vegas Top Doctors 2020.

Dr. Mahayana is fantastic. One of the best doctors in Las Vegas. However the call center or front desk has issues with returning patients calls.
Had the nerve conduction test done. Was in and out in a few minutes and the doctor is so kind.
When sitting down with Bernadetta going over all thats happening with I found the right place. She took the time bit more important than that she looked at my over all health issues. I found someone will to look at all of me to help me. Every patient deserves a Bernadette in their corner advocating for them. Thank you so much Edward London
Dr Mahajan was helpful and courteous with the visit, and his assistant was very good in conducting the nerve tests quickly and without issue. I am looking forward to seeing my report/results so that I can quickly schedule the back surgery needed to fix my issue
The wait is too long
Very pleasant. From beginning to end he listened and took time to explain my care. I was really impressed and has recommended him to my son-in-law. He was very impressed also. At this point, I will never see anyone else.

Doctors are wonderful but you can expect to wait anywhere from 1 to 3 hours before being seen. They definitely are worth the wait but bring a phone charger n snacks!
Knowledgeable and approachable
Dr. Mahajan and his staff were very kind. My visit went smoothly, and I was in and out quickly. The only thing keeping me from giving five stars is that messages through the patient portal seem to go unchecked.
I love Dt Mahajan and his staff. He is very attentive and takes the time to answer any questions. He also explains thoroughly for your treatment. I would recommend him for any neurological needs that you may have.

Although at first, I wasn’t even called until almost an hour after arriving for my appointment after I showed up early. Once I did get called back all the staff was very caring and listens to my concerns and came up with a continued treatment plan.
Dr. Mahajan and his staff work very well together. They know what their doing, they explain things and their always smiling. What I like the best is before my appointment is over he always asks me if I have any questions. If I do he will explain or if I’m not sure he’ll just tell me to give them a call.
My firs appt so too early to say except I hope my next appt won’t be a three hour wait
This was probably the best medical experience I've ever had It was detailed and informative. Both myself and family member walked out of office and looked at each ther .what the hel just happened a Dr listened, was compassionate and gave great advice. Best Dr I have had the pleasure to find in las vegas

His “bedside manner “ is outstanding. After his Resident discussed my case with him, he decided the course of testing he wanted done and explained why he was ordering them. He was able to head in a direction that tied together the military exploits I suffered along with bringing them together with my afflictions and depression. I felt finally that someone heard me.
Dr Mahajan listens carefully to patient concerns, and is sensitive to pain levels.
I was a little nervous at first. Dr Magahan was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and caring. He answered all my questions without feeling rushed. So glad I was referred to him.
