Jefferson Berryman, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist on the team at Rocky Mountain Eye Center. He provides care for patients at the practice's office in Missoula, Montana.
Dr. Berryman graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and biochemistry from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with special distinction for finishing in the top 5% of his class. While in medical school, he was also elected into the Gold Humanism and Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Societies.
Dr. Berryman completed his transitional internship with the Colorado Health Foundation in Denver, Colorado, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of California, Davis in Sacramento. During his training, he co-authored multiple scientific papers and presented research at several national meetings. He then completed an advanced fellowship in glaucoma, cataract, and complex anterior segment surgery with Minnesota Eye Consultants in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Berryman is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, cataract surgery, and anterior segment surgery.
Dr. Berryman has a passion for community outreach and has participated in medical outreach trips to Haiti, Honduras, and Mexico. When he’s not treating patients, Dr. Berryman likes to spend time with his wife, hike, ski, and play tennis.

While I respect and appreciate Dr. BERRYMAN this particular visit seemed a bit rushed to me. The waiting room outside his specific examination rooms was totally packed and it seemed like it was a pretty cursory visit.
Dr. McCoy is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions throughly. If applicable, she offers different options for the treatment of your particular eye health needs.
