Raised in Clinton Township, Michigan, Dr. Kandt graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Shortly after graduation, he attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.
Dr. Kandt completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania before returning to the University of Michigan for his fellowship in interventional pain medicine. Dr Kandt, and his entire team are attentive, kind and know their stuff. After years of physical therapy, chiropractic and massage therapy with no results, and not wanting to do back surgery. The steroid injections are the ONLY thing that removed my pain. This is an incredible Doctor and staff!

The experience was very good, I was treated professionally and the staff as well as Dr Kandt were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the injection after 7 days had not produced the results I was looking for. I guess it has more to do with my condition than with the professional capacity in the pain management staff
