Raised in Clinton Township, Michigan, Dr. Kandt graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Shortly after graduation, he attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.
Dr. Kandt completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania before returning to the University of Michigan for his fellowship in interventional pain medicine. I had pain in my hand so severe it would wake me up at night. Saw Dr.Kandt and he knew immediately what the problem was. He administered an injection. I felt immediate relief and pain has not returned.

The office staff is efficient and helpful, and I have never waited to see the doctor for more than 10 minutes. Dr. Kandt is responsive to the information that I give to him, developing a treatment plan that isolates and treats the problem I am experiencing. Dr. Kandt presents me with options and fully explains what each entails. I am very pleased overall with this practice.

Out of necessity, I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Kandt. At 84 years old and not being computer-savvy, I was a little hesitant about seeing the doctor in this manner, but the office made everything easy by initiating the call. I was able to explain my problem and Dr. Kandt was kind, patient, and very helpful. I appreciated how comfortable and positive the entire experience was.
