I was scheduled for hip bursa injections on 10/1/25 which went fine as usual. Dr. Kandt took extra time to review film and reports I’d brought in from a recent surgery. Jeffrey Kandt, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in pain management. He treats patients at Clarkson Pain and Rehab in Clarkston, Michigan.
Raised in Clinton Township, Michigan, Dr. Kandt graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Shortly after graduation, he attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.
Dr. Kandt completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania before returning to the University of Michigan for his fellowship in interventional pain medicine. He is interested in musculoskeletal and nerve disorders, which he treats utilizing ultrasound and fluoroscopic methods.
