Dr. PETERSON is 1 of the most relatable doctors I know. He is also the most talented mohl surgeon !! This was my 2nd mohl surgery by Dr Peterson I have had and the results are fantastic!! Also how do you have someone dig out your Show moreupper layer of skin and not be in pain!!!
Dr. Peterson did a very good job in his surgery and did that with a clear competence. He was very clear about how to treat both of the wounds and gave very good instructions about recovery and follow up after the surgery.
Jeffrey E. Petersen, MD, FAAD, is a fellowship-trained dermatologist and MOHS surgeon at Missouri Dermatology Laser and Vein Center, which has locations in Fenton, Chesterfield, and O'Fallon, Missouri. He is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is an active member of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of MOHS Surgery.
Dr. Petersen completed his dermatology training at Indiana University School of Medicine and a skin cancer fellowship in MOHS micrographic surgery and reconstruction at the University of Texas Southwestern. He has been practicing dermatology since 2000.
Dr. Petersen has been the Mohs surgeon and held Assistant Professor positions at both Indiana University and Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis. He has also lectured and taught both nationally and internationally about skin cancer and diseases of the lower extremities.
Having lived abroad in Europe, Dr. Petersen is conversant in French. Outside of the office, Dr. Petersen enjoys spending time with his family and coaching youth football and baseball.
