Dr Jeff Saal and his staff are a top notch, professional and comprehensive care team. I have been a patient at SOAR for over 35 years and over the years I have traveled hours to receive his advice and treatment for my spine. I havShow moree the highest praise for Dr Saal and I have confidently recommend his practice to anyone who asks about my care team. It's so refreshing to have a doctor that treats you as he would his own family and genuinely cares about your outcome. I recently had a Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted at Stanford Hospital and I can't help but to compare my experiences. I would wait 2-3 months to see the doctor I booked my appointment with at Stanford, only to be seen by another unknown Dr or a NP. Dr Saal on the other hand, sits down with you and spends time listening and together we moves forward to a treatment plan. It's called "good old fashioned medicine" something you just don't find anymore! I will forever be thankful for the care and support I have received from SOAR and Dr Saal.
Dr. Jeff Saal is fantastic, but if I could make a suggestion…. I had a procedure done and my pain got worse, I called in the following Monday for an appt and could not get in until Thursday. I understand why I can’t get in on procShow moreedure days, but then couldn’t get in until 3 days later yikes! I couldn’t get in on Tues as there were 28 pts but could leave me on a cancelation list for that day, but got scheduled for Thursday:( my suggestion, as I work in dentistry and dentists do this, is to have at least 30 mins a day strictly for emergencies. I want to rate the office a 5 and Dr. Is a 5 but this really was disturbing. Thank you!

Dr Jeffrey SAAL is a great doctor who help me a lot & solve all my sciatica, neck pains,…
He listens, explains in clear terms & has welfare of patients in mind. Great doc!
This is my second time seeing Dr. Jeff Saal and I am again grateful for his thoughtfulness and willingness to listen. Unlike other providers I've seen, he doesn't rush to a diagnosis and wants to take the time to clearly identify what your issue is prior to suggesting a treatment plan in order to ensure the best outcome.
Dr Jeff Saul is an excellent doctor. I have seen him for years and have nothing but the utmost respect for him. I believe he cares deeply about his patients and is very professional. Most importantly, I have ultimate confidence in ability to diagnose and treat me.
I strongly recommend Jeff Saal. He has done a great job in treating my lower back issues over many years and improving my quality of life. He listens well and is easy to talk to. Go see him if you have issues with your spine.

Very friendly and caring
Dr. Jeff Saal has been my treating physician for over 30 years and he has been terrific from day one! Dr. Saal has always been there for me treating my surgically repaired back. His staff has always been excellent also. Myself, being 72yrs old and seen alot of other Dr.s for different things, I can definitely say, there's no other Dr. I would trust or believe in. Thank you Dr. Saal and your staff!
There are few words which express the absolute trust I have in Dr. Joel Saal and his team. From every accident, to general help negotiating the aging process, I have felt the utter genius of the SOAR team, but specifically, I owe my current state of great health to the care and attention of Dr. Joel!!! A+++
Whenever my hip bursitis becomes intolerable, I know that a visit to Dr. Jeff Saal for a cortisone injection is needed. Making my appointment was easy, and I experienced immediate relief afterwards. Thank you, Dr. Saal!
Great
I damaged my back doing construction work and doing gravity sports. Dr Jeff Saal has been guiding my maintenance for over 20 years. Through the use of pharmaceuticals, cortisone injections, physical therapy, and advising surgery he has allowed me to live as close to a normal life as possible. With as little pain as the
Jeffrey Saal, MD is one of the most professional and compassionate doctors i’ve had care for me. 17 years now.
Excellent care.
Dr. Saal is a brilliant diagnostician with excellent bedside manner. I’ve seen several doctors who misdiagnosed the reason for my nerve pain and Dr. Saal was able to figure it out within minutes. He ordered an MRI for me and told me the complete treatment plan rather than minimizing my pain. Also, as a larger person, I typically get a lecture every time I see a doctor and this was not the case with Dr. Saal. I could not recommend him more highly.
Very professional and informative. Nice and caring staff
I have worked with Dr. Saal off and on for about 30 years. He is caring and knowledgeable, and I feel lucky to have him as my doctor. His staff is also caring and good to work with.

Have been seeing dr Jeffrey Saal for years and he is great! A lot of experience and knowledge.
Professional and thorough, with care and concern
Excellent Doctor! I was referred by another doctor friend for my bad shoulders. Dr. Saal is very kind, patient, and professional. He took the time to explain in detail my MRI, and answered all my questions. I appreciate his expertise and kind demeanor. Thank you Dr. Saal for your excellent care!
Outstanding in every way
