I have been a patient of Dr. Brooks for 20 years. I met her the day I found out I was pregnant and had a knot under my right arm. This was a very scary time since my mother had just died from breast cancer. Dr. Brooks and her stafShow moref were so kind, caring, and so supportive of this motherless pregnant woman. I will always be thankful God led me to her and the ladies that worked and continue to work for her. She and her staff are amazing and proactive to help women in good and hard times.
I went to Dr. Brooks after frustration with another doctor over my care. I felt he did not really listen to my concerns as he recommended a hysterectomy to me as a routine procedure at 33 for small fibroids. I refused it every yeaShow morer. I’m 51 now and needed a hysterectomy last year at 50. I learned from Dr. Brooks that at 33 I could have had “other” procedures all those years ago to address fibroids before they were so big and painful. Black women are often taken advantage of by white OBGYNs.

Dr. Brooks is absolutely amazing. She truly cares about you as a patient. She will take her time to make sure you are comfortable, heard, and taken care of. Typically, she stays on schedule, but she will NEVER rush through a patient, so there are times she will run behind schedule. Just be patient, it will be worth the wait.
