Jennifer Clayton, APRN, is a skilled nurse serving patients at Contemporary Women’s Care, an OB/GYN, which has locations in Winter Park and Lake Nona, Florida.
Jennifer was born in Winter Park and grew up in northern New Jersey before heading to South Carolina to earn her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina. After returning to New Jersey, she completed an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Rutgers University and, in 2018, came full circle—moving back to Florida to work at the very hospital where she was born.
Jennifer began her nursing career in gynecologic oncology before transitioning to labor and delivery and the obstetrical emergency room. These experiences were both humbling and rewarding, giving her the privilege of being part of some of the most meaningful moments in her patients’ lives.
Driven by a desire to broaden her scope of practice and deepen her impact in patient care, Jennifer earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Medicine from Auburn University in 2023. Since then, she has worked locally in hematology and oncology. Now, as she returns to women’s health, Jennifer is excited to combine her diverse clinical experience to provide compassionate, individualized care for every patient she serves. Jennifer looks forward to providing compassionate gynecologic care to patients at our Winter Park location.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her husband, their one-year-old daughter, and their two dogs—whether it’s exploring the West in a camper van, relaxing at their family’s ranch, or enjoying quick getaways with friends.

This was my first experience with this office, along with my first pregnancy. At first I felt like I was being bounced around from provider to provider. Don't get me wrong they are all very nice and willing to help, but felt like some communication got lost with each appointment. I am so happy that I ended up with Dr. Shringarpure to deliver my baby! 10 out of 10 recommend!! I never once felt dismissed with her and she would stay and answer all my questions as needed. If I were to get pregnant again I would absolutely go back with Dr. S <3
This is my second pregnancy, and I’m happy to see significant improvements since my first! Three years ago, I had several issues with the front office when scheduling and rescheduling appointments, but now the process is much smoother. The front office staff is attentive, scheduling is easier, and the patient portal works well. I also have a new doctor, Dr. Shringarpure, and I truly appreciate her. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and explains everything calmly and thoroughly. I love her energy and hope that never changes! Overall, my experience has been positive so far. I’m deducting one star because they still cancel appointments if you’re even five minutes late. While this hasn’t happened to me, it’s stressful knowing it could.

Felt a little rushed. Only focus was routine pap smear and not a screening of over all health. Was told to reschedule another appointment to address other issues or Questions. Was very nice and polite. Also I went in an hour early. Was my first time there as a patient... and was told to follow screen prompts to fill out no one let me know I was checked in. I have a migraine issue and the scent in the waiting room was overwhelming so I went to wait until 15 mit
