About Dr. Jeremy Larson, DO

Born and raised here in St. George, being a psychiatrist never crossed my radar until my first rotation in medical school. I enjoyed the interpersonal relationships that develop with patients in psychiatry and the gratification that comes with being able to play a part in helping someone overcome mental illness. I therefore decided to become a psychiatrist and completed a 4 year residency in Pennsylvania. I learned throughout my time in residency that mental health disorders are often influenced by substance use. I then chose to extend my studies an additional year in Ohio to complete an Addiction Psychiatry fellowship and am the only addiction physician specialist in Southern Utah. Treating patients in the mental health field can be difficult at times, but also very uplifting when you can help someone feel stable again. Whether you’re suffering from a mood disorder, addiction, or both, we can figure out a treatment plan together that works for you.
