I injured myself on the first day of vacation. Arriving home two weeks later I consulted with three doctors. Exhausted and stressed hearing I needed surgery when we met and consulted with Dr. Jervis Yau; my husband and I agreed heShow more was the right choice. Later we discovered two friends that had been helped, very gratefully; by Dr. Yau and another two friends who work at Sansum Clinic that that gave him rave reviews. Although frightened of having surgery; the staff and Dr. Yau were gratefully patient with me addressing my concerns and calming me. Next thing I knew I was going home. All went well in less time than expected. Dr. Yau is a conscientious, excellent surgeon, he has a wonderful intelligent calm manner with his patients. He double checks to make certain all is well. I would, without question, trust Dr. Yau! You will be in good hands.

Other than difficulties getting reception to return my call requesting an appointment, everything was top notch including the doctor and his medical staff.
Dr. Yau was great . Super informative and helpful. Young and super smart. Luckily my diagnosis was super positive and I won’t have to redo my shoulder for awhile. If I needed rotator cuff surgery he would be my guy.Thanks again Dr. Yau

A bit of a wait to see Dr. Yau. I appreciate his kind mannerism and attention to my very sore arm from acute tendinitis. I was prepared for the injection but he made it tolerable pain wise which I was so fearful of. Thank you Dr. Yau.

Dr. Yau never seems rushed and appears to genuinely want to hear what is going on with my injury and surgical recovery. He was very thorough with all the information in preparation for my surgery and what to expect after.

Day of aspiration and injection, discomfort did not decrease until the next day. Pain lev el down to 2-3. Edema decreases overnight. I appreciated your comprehensive review of MRI with information not discussed by previous provider. Thank you for your care.

Dr Jarvis was/is A+ Fabulous! Spent appropriate amount of time testing, very kind and highly competent and experienced. Gave me a cortisone shot to alleviate trochanter bursitis just below the hip which worked immediately and I am so thrilled to be out of pain and no longer limping after barely walking. I recommend him to everybody! YEA!!!
Dr Yao is through and quick and spot on with the few times which i have had to go in a see him.
Dr. Yau is helping me navigate conservatively with my knee pain as I have already had a surgery for a cadaver ACL and Meniscus tear roughly ten years ago. I appreciate his approach until I am a candidate for a total knee replacement. Note: orthopedic surgeon whom conducted my previous surgery was from Sansum Clinic.
