She then relocated to New York and completed her residency at the NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln. During her residency, she obtained certification in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery. In her final year of residency, she served as administrative chief resident and received the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine Residency Program Award for Excellence in Obstetrics.
In New York, Dr. Silva worked providing a broad range of care in Obstetrics and Gynecology to women of all ages. Dedicated to her profession, Dr. Silva shared her knowledge with residents and medical students as an adjunct assistant professor for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Long Island School of Medicine in Mineola, New York.
She is very happy to be back in Orlando to serve the community she grew up in. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband. She enjoys working out, reading, exploring restaurants and events with friends, and binge-watching TV/movies with her family.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Dr. Elizabeth Elbadri was one of the best OB-GYNs, and unfortunately, she is no longer with this practice. My attempt to establish care with Dr. Jessica Silva, M.D., was extremely disappointing. Dr. Silva abruptly left the building during my scheduled appointment without notifying the staff, and when they attempted to reach her, she was already en route to the hospital due to another patient’s delivery emergency. This was despite the fact that I had arrived early for my appointment. I completely understand that emergencies happen, but not having another doctor on call to handle emergencies is unacceptable, especially for a busy practice like Contemporary Women’s Care. The staff showed little concern, and the situation was handled very unprofessionally. I left feeling dismissed, especially because I drove from out of town specifically to establish care with a new provider and ask my new doctor important questions about my medical care. I made the staff aware of this, yet my concerns did not seem to matter. The staff did offer to have me see a physician assistant or nurse practitioner instead. However, I was told that they would not be able to answer the medical questions I had prepared because they were not physicians or specialists in the areas I needed guidance on. I was also told that the nurse practitioner and physician assistant would not be able to provide the blood work script I needed, which was one of the primary reasons for my appointment, along with getting my well-woman’s exam. I had communicated these needs to the staff when I originally scheduled the appointment, making the proposed alternative inadequate for my needs. I was simply hoping to obtain a mere blood work script at the very least that Dr. Elbadri had recommended to me before leaving the practice, yet Dr. Silva was unwilling to provide one the following day to rectify the situation. I would have expected some genuine empathy and a reasonable effort to make things right, but instead, my request was denied, and I was simply told to reschedule another appointment. After already traveling from out of town for an appointment that I arrived early for, being asked to start the process over was incredibly frustrating. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that the same situation would not happen again if I scheduled another appointment. The entire experience was a disgrace. It is unfortunate to see what appears to be a decline in a facility that once provided high-quality patient care. Based on my experience, it is difficult not to question whether profits have become more of a priority than genuine patient care. For Dr. Jessica Silva, M.D. to leave without ensuring her scheduled patients could be seen by an appropriate provider, with no other physician available to see her patients, and then decline to help resolve the situation the following day was extremely disappointing. Patients deserve better than this, and I expected far more from a practice of this reputation that I used to trust. I will never return, and I do not recommend this facility to other women. Patients deserve professionalism, compassion, accountability, and a practice that truly prioritizes their care.

Very caring yet professional
I absolutely adore Dr. Elbadri. She has phenomenal bedside manner, she speaks to you with empathy and care, and she takes a genuine interest in each of her patients. I don't usually feel so strongly about my doctors but she sets the bar high. When it comes to women's care and pregnancy there is no better doctor than Dr. Elbadri.
I’m very grateful for Dr. Silva’s care for me during two miscarriages. Her compassion, hope, and honesty have been delivered with such empathy for our losses and physical/emotional pain. She saw me quickly for the first (natural) miscarriage and pain management, and she was able to get me quickly scheduled and took great detailed care of me for a D&C for our second most recent loss. I appreciate she doesn’t give “fake toxic positivity” platitudes, while still giving us hope for a future living child. One note: It would be helpful for the staff to check on medical notes before speaking with the patients so they know if the patient received sad news after an appointment or follow-up after an emotional procedure.

Dr Elbadri is an absolute hero to have someone be so incredibly caring and understanding and the best doctor in the world all while looking like a Disney Princess. I would never go to anyone else Dr Elbadri and her care and concern has saved my life not once but twice. I recommend anyone I know to her including my daughter who had a fear of going to gynecologist. She said you were right mom she is the best. I love you Dr Elbadri

This was the first time meeting Dr. Elbadri and i had a very good experience. She has a very warm personality, someone that you instantly feel comfortable with. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions with patience and care. If I do not get my primary doctor to delivery my baby, I would definitely choose her to be my doctor.

Dr. Shringarpure replaced my doctor who went on maternity leave. She was great!! She asked if I had any questions and answered them thoroughly. She was very pleasant and took the time to examine me. I’ve been a client of Contemporary Women’s Care for over 10 years. I highly recommend.
